There are many paths to success. Our programs work to engage Missouri students in learning about the responsibilities involved in becoming a parent. We provide easily accessible resource materials on becoming better parents and co-parents through educating students about the financial, legal, and emotional responsibilities of being a parent.





OUR PROGRAMS PROVIDE
EDUCATION

Educate teens about the financial, legal, and emotional responsibilities of parenthood
RESOURCES

Provide resources to equip teens with the knowledge and skills to maneuver successfully through life situations
RESEARCH

Use scientific research to teach teens about high-risk behaviors and help them become healthy, productive, and responsible adults
INTERVENTION

Partner with High School Alternative Programs and the DYS to offer alternative education services to at-risk students
MENTORSHIP

Mentoring services that influence teens’ behavior and mindset to reduce the likelihood that they will live in poverty during adulthood

Parenthood Can Wait
This program aims to increase youth understanding of the financial, legal, and emotional responsibilities of parenthood. It also gives access to resources that will help students achieve their life goals, build economic mobility and develop into responsible parents.
